The NCDAA Hall of Fame award, to recognize individuals whose contributions to the profession and service to the goals of the Association have been significant, substantial, and long-standing. The NCDAA Hall of Fame is also intended to recognize those that throughout their careers, have distinguished themselves with outstanding professional achievements and remarkable innovations that have changed the practice of law and our culture. To be considered for the NCDAA Hall of Fame, preference shall be given to former members, and those who have either retired from the profession, or who have passed away after years of service defending the rights of the citizen accused.
