Spike Eickholt, member and NCDAA lobbyist, will summarize recently enacted legislation that impacts the practice of criminal defense law.  Spike will focus on specific statutory changes relating to changes to criminal procedure and changes to substantive criminal law. Approved for 1 CLE hour. 

This is the same presentation that Spike has done in-person at a number of locations this summer. If you attended one of those, you need not participate via zoom. If you are unable to attended the webinar live, it will be recorded and available for credit. Spike Eickholt is the registered lobbyist for NCDAA.  He began his legal career with Legal Aid of Nebraska upon his graduation from UNL Law School in 1998.  In 1999, he became legal counsel to the Judiciary Committee of the Nebraska Legislature and then joined the Lancaster County Public Defender Office in 2003.  Since 2015, Spike has been a sole practitioner at Eickholt Law LLC.  Spike is a member of the NSBA, the Lincoln Bar Association, as well as NCDAA.
