Presenters:

Steven Epstein 

Mr. Epstein is a founding partner at Barket Epstein Kearon Aldea & LoTurco, LLP and head of the firm’s DWI and Vehicular Crimes group.  Mr. Epstein is Head of the Steven Epstein DWI Defense Institute, an educational program designed to teach lawyers how to defend DWI cases. Mr. Epstein has more than 28 years of experience in the field of criminal defense and has tried well over 100 DWI cases to verdict.

Kenneth Lackey 

Mr. Lackey is the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles, Legal Counsel.  

Lawrence Koplow 

Mr. Koplow is a former DUI prosecutor with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. At the time he left the County Attorney’s Office, he was working in the Maricopa County Attorneys’ Vehicular Crimes Unit.  Mr. Koplow then worked as in-house counsel for Farmer’s Insurance, he primarily handled the defense of automobile accident cases. This included defending civil lawsuits arising out of vehicular crimes.  This combination of specialized knowledge and experience have given him a rare skill set for successfully defending impaired driving cases.

Mr. Koplow subsequently founded the Koplow Law Firm, where his criminal practice is focused on DUI and vehicular crimes (charges involving vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, endangerment and leaving the scene of the accident, Misdemeanor DUI and Felony DUI.)
